You’ve probably heard of the Emmy Award winning HBO show, Big Little Lies. Just as the acting and storytelling captivated audiences, so did the stunning backdrops of the show. Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home - 1986
While the action of the film took place closer to San Francisco, it was actually the Monterey Bay Aquarium where filming took place for the aquarium and whale scenes. However, the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s name could not be used since it was supposed to take place in Sausalito, closer to SF. In the movie, the aquarium was located across the Golden Gate bridge.
