Celebrate "All Things Food" At Big Sur Food And Wine

Big Sur is a beautiful area located along the coast of Northern California. The sights to see are gorgeous in the area, and if you will be staying in Monterey or the nearby area, a visit to this area is absolutely necessary. Even better, if there is a fun event taking place during your trip, be sure to take advantage! If you travels will be bringing you to the Big Sur area at the beginning of November, then consider attending the Big Sur Food and Wine Festival! This exciting event will be coming to the area November 3-5th, so be sure to add it to your calendar.

So what does the Big Sur Food and Wine Festival entail?  Attendees can expect some of the best wine and food prepared by well-known chefs in the area. It truly is a celebration of all things food and wine of Northern California. Each day will contain smaller events. On Thursday, there will be the Magical Mystery Tour starting at 11 am. On Friday there will be Hiking with Stemware at 11 am, Pinot Walkabout at 12 pm, and Wine & Swine at 6 pm. On Saturday there will be multiple events including 3 different types of Magical Mystery Tours starting at 10 am, Walkabout Marketplace at 12, Hitching Post at Big Sur Bakery at 5:30 pm, Sommelier Dinner at 6:30 pm, Dinner at Deetjan at 6:30, and Hoedown at the Library at 6 pm.

You must be 21 years old to attend the Big Sur Food and Wine Festival, and IDs will be checked upon entering. Tickets must be purchased for each particular event that you wish to attend. Depending on the event that you wish to purchase tickets for, prices range from $50-$200.
