Do you want to visit the building where the State of CA was born? Now you can by visiting the Colton Hall Museum. This location is a unique part of California’s history. Monterey County Youth Museum

This location is the perfect place if you want your kids to enjoy a fun and creative place to expand their imagination and learn new things while having fun. There are various areas/exhibits within the museum that are targeted for different ages from 2-9. If you have kids around these ages, you’ll find something for the whole family!


Presidio of Monterey Museum

To learn more about Monterey’s history of military development from indigenous periods to the Spanish and Mexican periods and beyond, the Presidio of Monterey Museum is the place for you. Here, you can also explore the development of the Presidio as a training base for Monterey. The museum is open Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm.


Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History

This museum is located  near the Monterey Bay Aquarium and is an ideal location to learn more about the native plants and animals that call the area home. You can also learn more about the geology and the cultural histories of the area. The museum is open 7 days a week from 19am to 5pm.


Monterey Museum of Art

With rotating exhibits and various collections, there is always something new to explore at the MMA. At this location, you’ll find an exploration of the appreciation of California art, from the past to the present. Collections include early California paintings, photography, and contemporary art.
