If you love Italian food or want to get to know a little more about Italian culture, then come down to Festa Italia’s Santa Rosalia Fisherman’s Festival!! Santa Rosalia Fisherman’s Festival celebrates the Italian American culture found in downtown Monterey. If this sounds like something you’d like to bring your friends and family to, then come down to Custom House Plaza. The festival is from Friday, September 5th until Sunday, September 7th from 3-10PM on Friday and 9am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday. And the best part is, admission is FREE! While staying in Monterey, don’t miss out on this unique and fun festival with your friends and family! 

All weekend long, there will be fun things for you, your friends and family to enjoy. Come out and enjoy delicious Italian food. All your favorites will be there and you might even find a new favorite! There will also be raffles held throughout the festival, so be sure to get a ticket as you won’t want to miss out on some of the great prizes being offered! If you are 21 years old and over, then feel free to stop by the local vineyards and choose from a selection of beers and wines. This will be a nice stop to relax and cool off.

Other festival favorites include amazing entertainment from talented performers. Some amazing performers and groups that will be in attendance are The Joe Sharino Band, Operation Rock, Pasquale Esposito, Anthony Lane Band, and more! There will also be an exciting parade to enjoy on Saturday, September 6th, on Downtown to Plaza from 12-12:45pm. Also, don’t miss one of the best things about the festival, the fun bocce tournaments! Every year, teams from around the world come to the festival to compete for cash prizes, and of course, bragging rights. The tournaments are held on Saturday and Sunday; Bocce enthusiasts are highly encouraged to participate. So, come on down and celebrate 3 days of Italian cuisine, dancing, music, fun and exciting entertainment for all!
