If so, look for hotels around Monterey Ca now because Mazda has a great event all lined just for you. It is almost time for the Continental Tire Monterey Grand Prix! This event will be at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and Mazda is proud to host the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship. The event will kick off on May 1st and will continue until the 3rd. The gates will open at 7am and the first practice race will begin at 8am.
If you are interested in purchasing a 3-day general admission ticket so that you can attend all three days, you can purchase a ticket for $75 in advance and it will be $90 when purchased at the gate. A 2-day general admission ticket (good for Saturday and Sunday) will be sold for $65 in advance and $80 when purchased at the gate. A Friday general admission ticket is $35 advanced and $50 at the gate. A Saturday general admission ticket is $45 in advance and $60 at the gate. Finally, a Sunday general admission ticket is $55 in advance and $70 at the gate. Children 12 and under can get in for FREE when accompanied by a ticket holding adult. In addition, parking will be FREE. If you are interested, preferred parking will be available all three days of the event for $30 per car.
The TUDOR United SportsCar Championship is America’s premier road racing series and will be enjoying its second season. In the race will be both national and international driving stars. For fans, this will be a non-stop thrill ride as there will be two different styles of cars competing in the race: Prototype and GT, which stands for Grand Touring. Each of these styles will also have two different classes: Pro and Pro-Am. This means there will be a race within a race and that translates to non-stop action for the fans!
