Monterey Bay Aquarium’s newest exhibit features the amazing habitat that is found in Baja, CA. In Viva Baja!: Life on the Edge, this all new exhibit will show that baja is a habitat that lives on the edge of sandy desert and sea on the wild coast of the Pacific Ocean. As you learn about the different fish that call Baja, CA it’s home, you’ll also learn about what people in Mexico and around the world are doing to help keep this extraordinary place protected. In this all new exhibit, you’ll learn more about the fish of the area such as the colorful blue spotted jawfish, the brilling cortez rainbow wrasse, the golden trevally, the pacific seahorse and more! At the same time, you’ll learn about the animals living by the nearby deserts of Baja such as the desert tortoise, the mountain kingsnake, and the hermit crab.
